STAFF GONE FINISH

MS ANNEMARIE LAUMAEA


Annemarie was a Graduate Scientific Officer attached with the Immunology Lab and then in the Malaria Lab in Goroka. She worked here for two years then left the Institute in February 2008 to pursue a job as a Research Assistant at the HIV/AIDS Fusion Lab, at the Burnett Institute in Australia
.


MR ALI KEVIN


Ali was the Logistics Coordinator for the Enhancing Pregnancy Outcomes project. He worked at the Institute for 18 months and was based in Goroka. He has gone to join UNICEF in Port Moresby.




MRS JACINTA KONO


Mrs Kono has served the Institute for over 16 years as a Laboratory Assistant in the Microbiology Lab. She has left IMR to accompany her husband to Australia as he pursues his Master’s Degree.




MS JOSEPHINE AHO


Josephine was a Graduate Scientific Officer attached to the Operational Research Unit. She worked for 3 1/2 years at IMR and left in February 2008 to join the Eastern Highlands Provincial Government’s Planning Division as a Policy & Planning Research Officer.




MR KRITOE KELEBA


Kritoe was the only male in the HIV Research Cadets Training program. He left the program in December 2007 and has gone back to Tabubil.




MS CAROLINE TAIME

Caroline was the Junior Accountant for the IPTI project. She worked at IMR for two years but has left to join UMW Niugini Limited in Port Moresby as an Accountant.




MR JOHN WAUWE


John was working in the Malaria Microscopy Unit in Madang for two years. He has left IMR to join Barrick Mine in Kainatu, Eastern Highlands Province as a Mine Laboratory Technician.




MS APA PURUNGA


Apa was attached to the Data Management Unit in Madang but has left IMR to work with WHO in Port Moresby as a Data Manager.




MS LISOL LUKE


Lisol was a Graduate Scientific Officer attached to the Microbiology Lab in Goroka. She worked at IMR for three years and has now left IMR and has gone back to her home province New Ireland.




MR McKENZIE JENKINS


Mckenzie was attached to the Operational Research Unit in Goroka. He worked at IMR for three years but left the Institute in February 2008.




MS MELANIE KOINARI


Melanie was a Graduate Scientific Officer attached to the Immunology Unit in Madang. She worked with the IPTI project for two years but has left IMR to join her husband in Australia.




MR ARMAN KUNIAKA


Arman was a Data Manager/Programmer in Madang. He worked at IMR for a year and has left to join the University of Technology as a Tutor.
