According to the Mosquito’s coach and team manager, Mr Morris Andy, Professor Siba had always been very supportive to the PNGIMR Rugby Union teams and his support was really shown when he bought the jerseys out of his discretionary fund and presented it to the boys.

Mr Andy, who is also the team captain of the Mosquito’s premier team said that Professor Siba had also helped the teams to register with the association and helped them pay their field training fees at the National Sports Institute grounds.

“I would like to say thank you to Professor Siba for the new jerseys and for his support for the PNGIMR Mosquito’s teams. The young boys were very happy when they received the jerseys,” said Mr Andy.

The PNGIMR Mosquito’s teams consist of youngsters from the Gonics and Arabica streets in Goroka and PNGIMR male staff.
