Branches
The Institute conducts its work from laboratory and office complexes in Goroka, Madang and Maprik, with smaller branch in Wewak. Various field stations support research in rural areas. Nearly 300 people are involved in the operation of this network.

Support for all units and programs is provided by the sections of administration, finances, transport, library and laboratory management.
