Like many developing countries PNG is in a phase of trying to scale up access to antiretroviral therapy (ART). ART has been shown to transform both the medical and social experiences of HIV. In this research we have sought to examine the social impact of ART from disclosure and discrimination to alcohol consumption and sexual practices amongst others areas of people’s daily lives.
